Promoting EU Youth Goals through Sports is a two-year project starting in May 2021 aimed at promoting interest and engagement about European Youth Goals and future EU youth policies among less active youth and youth risking marginalization based on potential sources of discrimination through inclusive and sustainable sport activities. The main aim of the project is to combine the potential of sport to approach all young people and the need to engage a wider target of young people in EU Youth Goals and EU Youth policies; and to promote interest and engagement about European Youth Goals and future EU youth policies among less active youth and youth risking marginalization through inclusive and sustainable sport activities.Our main objectives:
- Create a network to enhance connection and engagement of less active young people in Europe around the European values and EU Youth Goals through sport
- Strengthen capabilities of young coaches and athletes to increase the active engagement on EU topic of their peers; promote inclusive and sustainable sport events and activities
- Promote inclusive and sustainable sport events and activities as a powerful tool to increase active engagement and participation of youth to EU issues, contributing to the democratic process and civic engagement in Europe
- Foster networking, capacity building and mutual cooperation among youth organizations and sport organizations that work with youth around Europe to improve their impact on EU policies and effective engagement of youth on EU issues.

GEA Cooperativa Sociale, ITA, Lead organisation
GEA is a social non-profit cooperative, established in 2004. GEA has developed solid experience in services for the inclusion, active citizenship and intercultural education of migrant communities, families, individuals, in particular women, youth and children.
The main field of activity is intercultural education and dialogue: GEA has developed a wide network of schools of each level and grades to work with, in different fields of education, such linguistic, social, intercultural skills, through training paths for students and teachers, workshops, laboratories.
GEA has a wide experiences on: youth active citizenship and participation, for social inclusion and active engagement on EU issues (project “The New European Citizens”, funded by the EU for Citizens strand 2, as applicant; project ”European Youth Engagement Network – EYE-Net“ approved within the Programme EUROPE
ASSIST, ITA
Assist is a non-profit Volunteers Association founded in 1999 to promote and defend the rights and the image of female athletes and sport workers, to foster equality and respect in sport, contrast gender stereotypes and discriminations in sport, as well as promote a positive sports culture. Assist aims at protecting and representing the rights of female athletes of all sport disciplines at professional level, as well as of all the staff employed in the field of sport (trainers, sport managers, professional experts on sport communication). Assist also aims at raising awareness about all topics concerning Equal rights in sport, Equal access to sports practice and sports culture in general.
European Network of Sport Education (ENSE), AT
The Fare network is a European NGO representing organisations that tackle discrimination in football and use football as a vehicle to foster social inclusion and promote diversity. United by the commitment to bring about positive social change, the strength of Fare springs from its diverse membership which comprises over 125 NGOs, youth organisations, human rights organizations, ethnic minority groups, supporters’ groups, amateur and professional football clubs, national football associations, etc. in 38 countries.

KMOP is a non- profit organisation based in Athens, Greece. KMOP with more than 40 years of experience in the sustainable development, social growth, human rights protection, social inclusion and policy research, brings to the partnership significant managerial and technical capacity that will contribute to the successful implementation of the project. KMOP has wide expertise in education, social welfare, health, and human rights protection, scientific research and the development of know-how in social policy issues. It is involved in both national and EU/international projects addressing social issues focusing on capacity building and promotion of the rights of low-skilled youth and long-term unemployed, empowerment, migration, minorities’ rights, victims of violence and trafficking, victims of bullying, disabled and elderly.
